# Anthropic Formalizes Claude Partner Network With Three-Tier Services Track
Three months after launching a $100 million channel program, the AI startup introduces a credentialed ladder for consulting firms and a self-service portal designed to bring order to the scramble for enterprise AI deployment expertise.
---
Anthropic on Tuesday unveiled two major additions to its Claude Partner Network: a three-tiered Services Track that ranks consulting firms by verifiable deployment experience, and a Claude Partner Hub portal that gives both partners and enterprise buyers a single pane of glass into the ecosystem. The move marks the clearest signal yet that the AI safety startup is building the kind of structured channel apparatus historically associated with mature enterprise software vendors.
The numbers behind the announcement are striking. Since the Claude Partner Network launched in March with a $100 million commitment to partner training, technical support, and shared marketing, more than 40,000 firms have applied to join and more than 10,000 individual consultants have earned a Claude certification through the Anthropic Partner Academy. Those figures suggest an intensity of channel interest that few AI companies have matched this early in their enterprise push.
Three rungs, one measuring stick
The Services Track introduces three tiers -- Select, Preferred, and Global Premier -- each defined by escalating requirements across three dimensions: certified practitioners, customers running Claude in production, and public endorsements of a firm's work.
Entry into the Select tier requires at least 10 active certified individuals, a minimum of two joint customers deployed in production over the trailing 12 months, and at least one published customer success story. The Preferred tier raises the bar to 100 certified practitioners, 15 production deployments, and three public references. At the top, Global Premier demands 1,000 certified individuals, 100 deployed customers spanning three or more geographic regions, 15 public customer stories, and a jointly developed business plan with named executive sponsors from both sides.
Crucially, Anthropic insists every firm is measured against the same yardstick regardless of size. A ten-person AI-native boutique climbs the same ladder as a global systems integrator. The company has also separated practice-building from business development: tier standing reflects the depth of a firm's Claude practice, while referral credits and deal protection reward partners who send new business to Anthropic.
"The services track shows Anthropic doing what every maturing enterprise software vendor eventually does -- building a credentialed partner ecosystem to extend its sales and delivery reach beyond what it can staff directly," Nick Patience, VP and AI platform practice lead at the Futurum Group, told Channel Dive. "The tiered structure with verifiable metrics is a logical choice that avoids the hollow badge programs plaguing other vendors' partner schemes."
The Partner Hub: transparency as a competitive weapon
Alongside the tiered structure, Anthropic launched the Claude Partner Hub, a self-service portal that refreshes daily and shows each partner firm exactly where it stands against the published thresholds for every tier. Enterprise customers can use the same portal to search a public directory displaying each firm's certification count, production deployments, and customer references -- a level of transparency unusual in vendor channel programs.
Partners can also connect the Hub to Claude through a new Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, allowing them to query their partnership status, registered deals, and certification numbers in a conversational interface without leaving the AI assistant.
Big consultancies are already all in
The announcement underscores the depth of commitment from global systems integrators. Accenture is training 30,000 professionals on Claude. Cognizant has rolled the model out to roughly 350,000 associates. Deloitte is making it available to 470,000 people across its global network. KPMG is integrating Claude across a workforce of more than 276,000. PwC is deploying Claude Code and Cowork starting with its US teams and expanding globally. Collectively, these firms alone account for well over a million professionals with access to Claude.
"Being designated as a Preferred Services Partner in the Claude Partner Network formalizes something Caylent has been building toward since day one of our relationship with Anthropic," Jason Cutler, SVP of Anthropic Consulting and Engineering at Caylent, told Channel Insider. "It puts us in co-sell conversations earlier and gives our delivery teams access to resources that directly accelerate client work."
Timing is no accident
The Services Track arrives just days after Anthropic confidentially filed a draft S-1 registration statement with the SEC, setting the stage for an IPO that could value the company at around one trillion dollars. Building a credentialed, auditable partner ecosystem is precisely the kind of operational maturity that public-market investors expect.
Karl Kadon, Anthropic's global head of partner experience, told the Wall Street Journal that the formalization carries reputational weight. "It would be our responsibility as a public company to show up to shareholders, and to the world, with an ecosystem that we can stand behind that is high-integrity," Kadon said. "It's not necessarily something where just anybody can call themselves a partner with Anthropic."
Promotions between tiers will be processed on a fixed schedule -- January 1 and July 1 each year -- with an additional one-time review on October 1, 2026, to accommodate the program's first cohort. Demotions occur only at the annual review on December 31, and only after 90 days' notice and a chance to close the gap.
What comes next
Anthropic said industry-specific specializations and deployment-linked rewards are on the roadmap. Getting started remains free: new applicants enter at the Registered level with a commitment to certifying at least 10 practitioners. The program is open to firms of every size, and the requirements are published in full at claude.com/partners.
For the broader enterprise AI market, the message is clear: the era of informal handshake partnerships in generative AI is ending. As Gartner VP Analyst Adam Preset told Channel Dive, "Every type of business, from massive global enterprises to single-person firms, is looking at AI agents. Any or all of those could take advantage of some partner to help them create custom solutions, manage their environment, build integrations and protect their data."
The question is no longer whether enterprises need help deploying AI. It is whether the firms offering that help can prove they have actually done it before. Anthropic is betting that a transparent, metrics-driven ladder is the answer.
