Intuition Robotics has achieved a historic milestone: ElliQ, its AI-powered social robot, is now the first device of its kind to receive full Medicaid reimbursement coverage. Washington State authorized a statewide reimbursement code for the companion robot, making it available to eligible beneficiaries in their home care services.

Our mission is to empower older adults with technology that fosters well-being and connection. Washington's leadership in making ElliQ available through Medicaid sets a national precedent, said Dor Skuler, CEO and Co-Founder of Intuition Robotics.

Pilot results show participants engaged with ElliQ an average of 60 times per day. Ninety-five percent reported decreased isolation, 100% found it useful for improving wellness, and 43% reported feeling safer and less anxious. Washington authorized coverage with no enrollment cap.

ElliQ is a voice-operated, AI-enabled companion that initiates conversations, offers medication reminders, suggests wellness activities, and performs daily health check-ins. It complements rather than replaces human care services.
